Inclement Weather Policy

Because we do not have an indoor facility large enough to hold all of our graduates and their guests, Kingsway's graduation is held outside at Anthony "Tony" Barchuk Stadium. The graduation ceremony is held, as scheduled, rain or shine. This means that if there is light rain or periodic showers, the ceremony will continue as planned. Graduates, faculty and staff and families are advised to plan ahead and prepare appropriately for weather conditions. Sunscreen, a hat, an umbrella, a raincoat, sensible shoes, and a good attitude are advisable if conditions warrant. If thunder and lightning force a postponement, school officials will move the ceremony to the reserve date. Graduation is streamed live and families can watch the ceremony from the comfort of their home or in the High School's Eitel Theater.
