Graduation

Each year it is Kingsway's tradition to conduct a formal and dignified graduation ceremony for members of the senior class. Graduation is a rite of passage that signals both the end of an era and the beginning of tomorrow. We come together each year to recognize this outstanding accomplishment and to celebrate a momentous occasion with our faculty, staff and families.

Graduation for the Class of 2025 is scheduled for Wednesday, June 18th at 5:30 pm at the Anthony "Tony" Barchuk Stadium. Gates will open at 4:30 pm. The event will feature keynote addresses by students, High School Principal Ms. Stefanie Fox-Manno, Superintendent Dr. James J. Lavender and the conferral of diplomas. Each graduate will have the opportunity to cross the field and have their name read aloud. In the event of extreme weather, the reserve date is scheduled for Thursday, June 19th, at 10:00 am and gates will open at 9:00 am. Please read our inclement weather policy for additional details.

In the fall of 2023, Kingsway conducted a survey of seniors and parents/guardians of seniors to solicit regarding whether to host graduation off campus (indoors) at the University of Delaware or to continue with our traditional outdoor graduation ceremony on our campus. 66% of respondents voted to keep the current graduation ceremony at Kingsway.
