Academic Assistance Program Schedule (AAP)
The district offers the Academic Assistance Program (AAP), a tutoring program for eligible middle and high school students. AAP is a federally funded Title I program that uses multiple measures to identify students who in need of extra support in math or English/language arts.
Through AAP, students receive personalized, one-on-one assistance from certified Kingsway teachers in a supportive online environment. The program utilizes individualized instruction to address learning gaps, reinforce classroom learning, and empower students to reach their full potential. AAP tutoring sessions are held online for high school students and either in-person or online for middle school students. Online tutoring is still live, but it is facilitated at convenient times for students and families via Google Meet. Tutoring focuses on building skills and academic confidence.
