Ms. Rachael Anderson

Ms. Rachael Anderson currently serves as the 7-12 Instructional Supervisor for English Language Arts (ELA) for grades 7-12 and as the Elementary Supervisor for the Social Studies, Science, English Language Arts, mathematics and Special Education for grades 1-6 at South Harrison School district through a shared curriculum service.


Experience and Accomplishments: Ms. Anderson taught pre-school and elementary school for seventeen years in a variety of classroom settings, including as a Montessori teacher with students ages 2.6 to 6 years of age and in Kindergarten in a public- school setting. She also served as a reading specialist for students in grades 1 through 6 in that district. She was also awarded the Swedesboro-Woolwich School District Teacher of the Year honor in 2006 and again in 2009.


Ms. Anderson has been an instructional supervisor for the Kingsway Curriculum team since its inception. During her tenure at Kingsway, she has supervised the following curricular programs: math, science, world language, and visual and performing arts at the middle school and high school. Currently, Ms. Anderson is also the supervisor of Kingsway’s Community and Education Program (CER), which includes enrichment programs for students K through 12th grade. During the 2017-2018 school year Ms. Anderson served as the assistant principal at Kingsway’s Middle School.  In that capacity, she worked with the middle school’s Intervention & Referral Services (I&RS) team, Renaissance program, and served as the middle school’s Affirmative Action officer.


Education and Studies: Ms. Anderson obtained her Pre-Primary Montessori certificate from the Montessori Education Center in her native Ireland. After emigrating to the United States, she received her American Montessori Certification, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Chestnut Hill College, Pennsylvania in 2002. Ms. Anderson is a 2006 recipient of a Master of Arts degree in Reading Education and in 2018 a Masters of Arts degree in School Administration, both from Rowan University.
