Meet the High School Principal

Mrs. Stefanie Fox-Manno
Stefanie Fox-Manno has spent the past four years serving as the proud Principal of Kingsway Regional High School. In working closely with the staff and students over the last four years, she is continuously inspired by their dedication, work ethic, brilliant ideas, kindness, and relentless drive to innovate and improve the overall educational experience.
For Ms. Fox-Manno, leading the high school represents a profound homecoming. She began her career at Kingsway—first teaching middle school English and later serving as the district's Humanities Instructional Supervisor. Reflecting on her appointment, Dr. James J. Lavender, Superintendent of Schools, noted, “As a Dragon, her strong work ethic and ability to connect with her students were impressive and beyond measure. We are excited to have her leading Kingsway, where her career began, and we continue to see the immense, positive impact she has on our faculty, staff, and students.”
Prior to stepping into the principalship at Kingsway, Ms. Fox-Manno served as the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) for the Pittsgrove Township School District. As CAO, she was responsible for leading a team of instructional supervisors, coaches, and principals, while overseeing district-wide professional learning opportunities for teachers and administrators. Most importantly, her work focused on building dynamic and equitable programming for students in grades PreK-12.
Her prior tenure at Kingsway as the Humanities Instructional Supervisor was equally impactful. In that role, she supervised middle and high school English instruction, the district English as a Second Language (ESL) program, Media Center specialists, and all district at-risk programs, while also designing comprehensive professional development across all subject areas. Before entering administration, she taught middle school English at Kingsway Regional Middle School and writing courses at Camden County Community College.
Throughout her distinguished career, Ms. Fox-Manno has been widely recognized for her excellence in education, earning:
-
The Distinguished Service Award (2016) as an Instructional Supervisor
-
The Exemplary Secondary Educator Award for the State of New Jersey (2012)
-
The Teacher of the Year Award (2007)
Her additional diverse professional experiences include writing for Scope magazine and participating in the prestigious Japan Fulbright Teacher Program.
Ms. Fox-Manno earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Rowan University, graduating summa cum laude in 2002, and subsequently acquired her Master of Arts in Composition and Rhetoric from the same institution.
Committed to lifelong learning, she holds both supervisor and principal certifications. She is also a Data Wise certified coach for the Data Wise Project at Harvard University and serves as a teaching fellow for the Data Wise in Action program through Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
