Mr. Zurzolo

Mr. James Zurzolo
Assistant Principal, Grade 9
Mr. Zurzolo serves as an assistant principal for grade 9. Mr. Zurzolo's assistant principal responsibilities include overseeing discipline for students in 9th grade. Additional responsibilities include oversite of our safety & security program, bell schedules, and student/staff parking.
Experience and Accomplishments:
Mr. Zurzolo taught mathematics, coached soccer, and was a class advisor for another district for five years prior to coming to Kingsway. At Kingsway, Mr. Zurzolo taught mathematics for five years, coached soccer and track, and was a class advisor before becoming an Assistant Principal in 2004.
Education and Studies:
Mr. Zurzolo graduated from York College of Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with a Mathematics Concentration and with a Secondary Education Certificate in Mathematics as well as a Elementary Education Certificate. Mr. Zurzolo later attended Wilmington University where he graduated with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and currently holds a Principal’s Certificate.

Mrs. Gaetano

Mrs. Dana Gaetano
HS Assistant Principal, Grade 10/ Supervisor Marching Band, Indoor Percussion and Indoor Guard
Mrs. Gaetano serves as assistant principal for 10th grade and is the supervisor Supervisor of Visual and Performing Arts, Marching Band, Indoor Percussion and Indoor Guard. In addition to her supervision of the aforementioned programs, Mrs. Gaetano supports staff with proactive classroom strategies to meet the needs of all learners, the use and proper implementation of educational technology and helps teachers to focus on strength-based solutions and problem-based learning.
Experience and Accomplishments:
Mrs. Gaetano joined the KRHS Dragon family in 2018 after moving to New Jersey as a History and Special Education Teacher and has recently joined the Administrative Team in January of 2025. Mrs. Gaetano brings years of teaching experience to this position as well as five years of previous administration experience from her home state of Delaware. Prior to her arrival at Kingsway, Mrs. Gaetano served as an AP History and Psychology teacher, Middle school principal and the Director of Educational Technology in her previous district. In her free time, Mrs. Gaetano also enjoys being a collegiate and high school level volleyball official.
Education and Studies:
Mrs. Gaetano graduated from Ursinus College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Secondary Education and minors in American Studies and Psychology. Her educational leadership experience was completed through Wilmington University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2007.

Mr. Ottinger
Mr. Steve Ottinger
HS Assistant Principal, Grade 11, Supervisor of Clubs & Activities
Experience and Accomplishments:
Mr. Ottinger joined the Kingsway team in 2012. Having just completed his degree from Rowan University, he started as an 8th-grade social studies teacher at Kingsway Middle School. In his second year of teaching, Mr. Ottinger became the team leader of the A-Team. The following year he went on to teach 7th-grade social studies and worked as part of the team that crafted the original curricular documents for both 7th and 8th-grade social studies at the middle school. Continuing his work as a team leader, now for the O Team, Mr. Ottinger gained valuable educational leadership experience, driving his desire to become a school administrator. Throughout this time, he would go on to work as the team leader of the N Team and serve in a variety of roles including coaching the Middle School Boys’ Cross Country team, serving as a member of the Middle School Improvement Panel (ScIP), working as a practicum teacher to students from Rowan University, acting as a teacher mentor to multiple new teachers and students, helping with the initiation of the Renaissance Program while serving on the Parent and Community Committee, being a member of the Technology Committee, and advising multiple after school activities such as Ultimate Frisbee and Track and Field.
Since 2022, Mr. Ottinger has served as a high school assistant principal and has supervised the History Department, works as a lead in school safety and security, and oversees clubs and activities at the high school.
Education and Studies:
As part of the New Jersey Student Tuition Assistance Reward Scholarship (NJ STARS), Mr. Ottinger graduated with his Associate’s Degree in History and Political Science from Gloucester County College and then went on to attend and graduate Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor’s in History/Subject Matter Teaching and Secondary Education from Rowan University. After ten years in education and three years in Wilmington University’s School Leadership Program, he graduated with his Master’s in Education.

Mrs. Alexander

Ms. Meredith Alexander
HS Assistant Principal, Grade 12
Ms. Meredith Alexander serves as an Assistant Principal at Kingsway Regional High School, where she is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging school community in which every student feels valued and connected. She believes that a strong sense of belonging is essential to student success and is passionate about fostering equitable opportunities that empower all learners to reach their full potential.
During the 2026-2027 school year, Ms. Alexander will oversee the senior class and work closely with students, families, and staff throughout the final (and exciting!) year of high school. Her responsibilities include coordinating senior activities and traditions, such as Paint the Parking Spot, Senior Trivia, Prom, Sunrise and Sunset events, Senior Awards Ceremony, and Graduation. She also serves as the School's Testing Coordinator.
In partnership with faculty and staff, Ms. Alexander strives to cultivate a positive school culture built on meaningful relationships, high expectations, and student-centered practices. She is dedicated to ensuring that every Dragon has the support, opportunities, and encouragement needed to thrive both academically and personally.
Experience and Accomplishments
Ms. Meredith Alexander joined the KRHS Administrative Team in December 2019. Ms. Alexander joined the Kingsway family upon completing maternity leave after the birth of her second son in May 2019. Prior to her leave, Ms. Alexander worked in the Deptford Township Schools since 2004. She served as an eighth grade mathematics teacher for eight years, followed by the role of assistant principal at Deptford High School for the next seven years. Meredith also served the Willingboro School District as an eighth grade mathematics teacher for one and half years upon graduating from Rowan University in December 2002.

Ms. Alexander graduated Cum Laude from Rowan University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Elementary Education and Mathematics and Science in 2022. Her educational leadership experience was completed through Seton Hall University and she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2011.
