High School teacher Drew Laverty was presented with a Life-Saving Commendation for protecting a student from harmful conditions to health and safety by quickly assessing a situation and performing the Heimlich Maneuver without delay to prevent a potential catastrophe last week. Drew is congratulated for his performance and the professional manner in which he conducted himself.
