• Promotion and Retention

    Any pupil in grade seven who has a failing average English, Literature, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies or Physical Education for the year, will have the option of attending a summer school program approved by the NJ Department of Education and the Board of Education to obtain a passing grade in any subject failure.

    Any pupil in grade eight who has a failing average in English, Literature, Science, Social Studies or Physical Education for the year, will have the option of attending a summer school program approved by the NJ Department of Education and the Board of Education to obtain a passing grade in any subject failure. Any pupil in grade eight who has a failing average in Mathematics must repeat the course in the 9th grade year, regardless of summer school program completion.
