Referral for Evaluation

If your student is experiencing learning, social-emotional, or behavioral challenges in school, contact your child’s School Counselor to discuss whether a referral to the Child Study Team is warranted. Kingsway offers a variety of academic supports which should be explored before a Child Study Team referral, including classroom support from the teacher, math and ELA lab classes, after school tutoring, Intervention and Referral Services I&RS, etc.

Referrals for special services may be made by parents/guardians, instructional staff and/or agencies involved in the welfare of children.  If you have questions about the referral process or qualifying for Special Education, please contact the Child Study Team.
