Dragon Camp at Kingsway Regional School District is back for Summer 2022!

Thank you so much again for choosing Kingsway Dragons Summer Camp! Below is some important information regarding the start of camp.Camp Drop Off and Pick Up - Below is the schedule for when the front or back doors will be used to access the camp. Only during the designated drop-off and pick-up times (highlighted below) will the car side entrance be used. All other times, parents will need to park and enter the front entrance to ensure the safety and security of the campers.7:00 - 8:15 - Front Entrance for Before Care8:15 - 9:00 - Back of Building for Car Side Drop Off9:00 - 4:00 - Front Entrance for Early Pick Up/Drop Off4:00 - 4:45 - Back of Building for Car Side Pick Up4:45 - 6:00 - Front Entrance for After CareBefore and After-Care parents will be required to park in the front of the building and drop off/pick up the campers inside the main lobby. Any drop-off or pick-up during the designated times (8:15 - 9:00 am and 4:00 - 4:45 pm) will be in the back of the building. All other times, parents will be required to enter the main entrance. Please note that the doors will not open until the designated times. Please wait for a staff member to come to assist you when utilizing car side drop-off. Attached you will find a map of the school and a detailed explanation of the car side procedures.Each family will be given 2 parent name plates to use as identification. These will be handed out during the first day of camp that your child attends. These are to be shown to the counselors at the front of the building before making your way around back. If you are picking up your child and do not have the nameplate or someone picking them up does not, we can still check the authorized pick-up list to ensure they are eligible to pick up your child. A valid ID will be needed to confirm identification.Snacks and Lunch - All campers are expected to bring a lunch and 2 snacks with them each day. The snacks are to be placed in a separate bag from the lunch box as they will be eating their first snack prior to lunch. Lunches will be stored in our walk-in fridge so you are able to pack cold items. If attending a trip on Thursday, please pack your child's lunch in a disposable gallon-size ziplock bag. They will be stored in coolers with ice and we want to ensure they stay cold and dry. We are a Peanut Free Camp so we do ask that you pack items that do not contain peanuts.Water days - July 7, 20, and August 3rd are our water days where we will have an inflatable water slide coming. If your child wishes to participate, please ensure they have a bathing suit, towel, and a change of clothes. We also ask that you put sunscreen on them before arrival. Campers can wear their bathing suits to camp to make changing easier as well.Camp Shirts - All campers will be given a camp shirt on their first day of camp. We ask that campers wear their shirts on the Thursday TripsBefore/After Care - If you ever need to enroll your child into Before/After Care please do so by adding it to your registration online. Each session is $8 per child. If you are running late, you can always contact us and let us know that we can move them into After Care for the day. Campers on the after-care list are dropped off at the media center to play at 4:15 while the rest of the campers head to the cafeteria for pick up. At 4:45 we will move all campers who were not yet picked up from the cafeteria into the media center and you will be charged for aftercare. To prevent your child from waiting in the cafeteria and to allow them to play in the media center please ensure you notify us ahead of time or sign them up for After Care before the start of the day. Any camper dropped off early, before 8:15, and not signed up for Before Care will also be charged for the session.
