PSAT/NMSQT
Kingsway Regional High School will administer the PSAT to all 10th, and 11th-grade students this fall. Students will take the assessment in school on October 12, 2022.

The PSAT/NMSQT, part of the SAT® Suite of Assessments, is designed to help prepare students for college and career, and to monitor growth over time, designed to measure the skills and knowledge that current research shows are essential for college and career readiness.
More Opportunities for More Students
By taking the Preliminary SAT® /National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) as a junior, students may meet the requirements to enter the National Merit® Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. Additionally, the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT™ 10 connect students to another $300 million in college scholarships for students across all major demographics. The awards—ranging from $2,000 to full-tuition scholarships
PSAT/NMSQT Test Day Reminders
- Electronic Devices: Cell phones, iPods, Smart Watches, and other electronic devices are prohibited in the testing room due to testing security protocols.
- Room Locations: On or after October 10, parents can access their student’s room location for either testing or the Freshman Program in the PowerSchool Parent Portal by clicking “Testing Information” from the navigation menu.

Students are encouraged to get a good night's sleep, eat a nutritious breakfast, and do their best.
