Assessment is an important part of learning. It helps teachers understand what students know, what they are still learning, and how they can best support students' growth.

At Kingsway Regional School District, assessments are not just used to measure learning, they are used to improve learning. Teachers use information from classroom activities, quizzes, tests, projects, and state assessments to provide feedback, adjust instruction, and help students continue to grow. Assessments also help students reflect on their progress and take an active role in their learning.

Throughout the school year, we use a variety of assessments to:

• Provide feedback that helps students improve and succeed.
