The Kingsway Regional School District maintains a strong commitment to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Our course offerings include a diversity of programs that enable our students to enhance their skills and abilities and to achieve their post-secondary goals. The district provides a level of course rigor leading to successful career exploration and 21st century learning that are NJCCCS & CCSS aligned to knowledge and skills proficiency. Teachers take an active part in curriculum development. Our curriculum revision cycle helps to ensure all disciplines are evaluated and revised regularly. Well-designed curricula can assist teachers in designing powerful learning opportunities, providing a seamless course/grade progression, and improving student performance. The Regional Curriculum Team supports the articulation, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the district’s curricular programming. Members of the team help to build a professional and knowledgeable network within the school community. Standards-based curriculum, performance-based learning and assessment, and G.R.E.A.T. Instruction to increase student achievement are the core mission of the Kingsway Regional School District.
