In keeping with our district vision of preparing students for college and career, Kingsway continues to raise expectations as we believe all students can achieve at high levels. As part of this philosophy, we administer the PSAT to all 10th, and 11th grade students each fall. Students will take the assessment in school on October 26, 2021.
Setting Up for Success
The PSAT/NMSQT, part of the SAT® Suite of Assessments, is designed to help prepare students for college and career, and to monitor growth over time designed to measure the skills and knowledge that current research shows are essential for college and career readiness.
More Opportunities for More Students
By taking the Preliminary SAT® /National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) as a junior, students may meet requirements to enter the National Merit® Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. Additionally, the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT™ 10 connect students to another $300 million in college scholarships for students across all major demographics.
