Instructional Technology Coaches

  • Vision and Purpose:

The Instructional Coach facilitates the district’s professional development model by demonstrating lessons, observing classroom instruction, and coaching teachers one‐on‐one in their area of focus and expertise. The Instructional Coach aims to enhance teachers’ ability to provide instruction that (1) builds student understanding and skills, (2) is academically rigorous, (3) addresses the curriculum standards and frameworks, and (4) enhances student sense of engagement in and ownership of learning. The Instructional Coach, in collaboration with teachers and school leaders, reviews student work and performance outcomes and assists teachers with designing instruction and learning that meets the district’s vision of G.R.E.A.T. Instruction for all students.
