Boosters & Public Trust

  • The District must maintain exclusive control and management of its public school system and therefore prohibits all school-connected organizations from requiring student participation in fundraising activities and encourages the primary participation of parents and other adult community members. Board policies pertaining to fundraising are designed to establish best practices for accountability and transparency. District employees must understand that public trust is vital to the District’s mission, and their organizations must be accountable to donors, stakeholders, government agencies and future patrons to succeed.

The District has outlined proper and improper use of Booster Funds for Booster Clubs to adhere to and has made known to Booster Club members annual and semi-annual reporting requirements
